“S” Care On Call caregivers have made it possible for my mother to remain in her home and maintain more control over her own life that would have been possible in either a nursing home or assisted living. The only option would have been for my Mom to live with us, and the stairs would have been a constant source of discomfort to her.
Somica stays in touch in order to be certain not only that her clients are comfortable with the aides she provides for them, but also that the aides are doing as much as possible for the client’s well-being. For the past year, "S" Care On Call has provided personal care for my mother who is both mentally and physically handicapped due to dementia, a hip fracture, and a stroke. She also requires treatment with a nebulizer four times a day for asthma. As a result of this care, we have noted remarkable improvement in her condition. Her physician noted the physical changes in her recent evaluation. Given the improvement, we have recently moved my mother from Assisted Living to an apartment at Leisure World.
